He has a Masters degree in Sociology and has been on both sides of the camera – as a professionally-trained stage actor, and as a film, documentary and broadcast director and producer. This combination of education and experience gives Christo a unique vantage point in understanding what truly resonates with audiences.
Honing his art form from some of the greatest masters of cinema, television and video, across many international markets including Europe, Israel, and Canada, today, Christo loves approaching his video work from the perspective of a stage play. With cinematic precision, Christo artfully tells his clients’ stories using video as the key medium.
Christo’s portfolio of work includes projects from such clients as: CBC Kids, Home Depot, Adidas, and the Starlight Children’s Foundation to name a few, alongside many entrepreneurs.
Christo loves constantly challenging himself and his team – to do things differently, and to bring a fresh point of view to his work, every time. “Change the angle, change the light, and instantly change the mood. I love to push the creative envelope. I don’t’ ever want to become repetitive,” he says.
Christo’s favourite projects are those where he gets to work for clients with purpose, so he knows his work contributions are having a positive impact on the world.
Something else you may not know about him? He loves capturing the magic of live events such as concerts. While most people would shy away for that pressure, Christo thrives among such challenges.
